Forgotten Cabinet to Mid-Century Marvel

This project is a perfect example of the hidden potential in old furniture. Our client was using this humble upper kitchen cabinet for simple storage, but knew it could be so much more.

We had vision and got to work. First, we revived the beautiful natural wood grain with a rich, warm stain, bringing out its incredible character. To give it the stature and style it deserved, we added a sleek, black base and legs, transforming its silhouette into a stunning media console. A new, durable black top was added for a sophisticated contrast and practical use. The final touch was replacing the old hardware with vintage patina copper pills, tying the whole look together.

What was once a simple upower cabinet,  is now a statement piece with a distinct mid-century modern feel, proving that thoughtful design can breathe new life into any object.
